Himalayas to s. China and n. Indochina;
Four populations;
(1) C. Nepal and ne. India e. to Arunachal Pradesh and s. to Cachar Hills, Manipur, and probably Nagaland to Sikkim.
(2) Se. Tibet and Burma.
(3) Sc. China (s. Szechwan, n. Yunnan), n. Vietnam (nw. Tonkin), Hainan and Taiwan.
