(Parc Natural de la Peninsula de Llevent, Mallorca and Parc Natural de Cala d'Hort, Ibiza), Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia (Cape Bon), Malta, Elba, Corsica, Sardinia, Libya (se. Gulf of Sidra), Italy, Yugoslavia, Aegean coasts of Greece and Turkey, Crete, Cyprus, Black Sea coasts of Bulgaria, n. Turkey, and s. Russia (w. Crimea, Sea of Azov).
(3) Breeds off w. Iceland, the Atlantic coast of Norway, extreme nw. Russia (Murmansk, n. Kola Peninsula), Faeroe Is. and Shetland Is., Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales, nw. France (Brittany), Spain (n. coast, Gibraltar, Mediterranean coast), sw. Portugal (Cape St. Vincent).
