Coast of Peru from Point Aguja, Ballestas off Paracas and Piura s. at least to Chiloe Is. and possibly Estero Ellefantes, Aisen, Chile (Mejillones Bay, Coquimbo). Puerto Deseado, Santa Cruz, s. Argentina.
Disperses n. as far as s. Ecuador and s. to the Straits of Magellan.
