South Australia (Bool Lagoon) and coastal s. Western Australia from Perth and Esperance to Moora), Kangaroo Is., Tasmania, New Zealand (North and South Island), New Caledonia (absent from the main is.(?)) and Uvea at the n. end of the Loyalty Is. chain.
