United States, Bermuda, the West Indies (Bahamas and Greater Antilles), and through Central America from Mexico to Costa Rica, Panama (Canal Zone, Lake Madden, Lake Gatun and the Chagres River above Gamboa), n. Colombia, n. Venezuela (Falcon, Aragua, Miranda, Monagas and Margarita Is.), Trinidad, Tobago, Surinam, w. Ecuador, and Hawaiian Is.
