Three populations;
Se. Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, s. Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Central African Republic, n. and e. Zaire, Rwanda, Burundi and w. Uganda. A small isolated population occurs in nw. Angola.
