Two populations;
(1) Se. Iran and ne. Arabia through s. Afghanistan and Pakistan.
(2) N. India.
(3) S. India and nw. coast of Sri Lanka.
Introduced to se. Arabia, Seychelles, Mascarene, Andaman and Hawaiian Is.
