One main population and three small isolated populations;
(1) Es. ne. Nicaragua. Nw. Costa Rica and possibly Panama (Canal Zone).
(2) Sc. Colombia (Putumayo) and ne. Ecuador. E. Peru, n. and e. Bolivia to Amazonian c., e. and se. Brazil (Bahia, Rio Jequitonha), Paraguay and ne. Argentina.
