N. South America;
Two populations;
(1) N. Colombia (Santa Marta Mountains).
(2) E. Andes and Macarena Mountains (Colombia) and coastal Cordillera (Venezuela).
(3) Isolated mountains in se. Venezuela and w. Guyana.
