Two or three populations;
S. Siberia, w. and c. China from Kansu and se. Shensi s. through e. and se. Tsinghai and Szechean to n. Yunnan to s. Tibet, and Nepal.
Winters s. to n. India (Arunachal Pradesh and Assam) and ne. Burma.
