Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa (Cape Province). N. Namibia, s. Botswana and w. Zimbabwe.
